Lemon juice

To make lemon juice, you will need the following:

  • Lemons
  • A citrus juicer or a manual juicer
  • A strainer (optional)
  • A bowl or pitcher
  • Water (optional)
Here's how to make lemon juice:

1.Wash the lemons thoroughly to remove any dirt or bacteria.

2.Cut the lemons in half. 

3.If using a citrus juicer, place a half lemon cut-side down on the juicer and press down to extract the juice. If using a manual juicer, squeeze the lemon half over a bowl or pitcher to extract the juice. Repeat with the remaining lemon halves.

4.If desired, strain the lemon juice through a fine mesh strainer to remove any seeds or pulp.
If using immediately, the lemon juice is now ready to drink or use in a recipe. If storing for later use, transfer the lemon juice to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
